Job Opportunity: Business Development/Account Manager

LEG is seeking a Business Development/Account Manager to join our team based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Reporting to LEG’s VP of Corporate Development, this is a full-time, position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Drive sustainable financial growth through generation of sales and development of strong relationships with clients
• Manage the preparation and delivery of proposals, as well as responses to RFPs and RFQs
• Provide input and participate in the marketing, planning, and technical development of products and services
• Provide regular updates and management of clients and opportunities with the company’s the CRM Database
• Interact and collaborate with the planning team and technical staff on a regular basis
• Respond to client requests and maintain client relations
• Aid in the preparation and delivery of presentations
• Prepare and execute sales tasks in alignment with sales strategy, proposals, preparation and delivery to effect sales
• Attend relevant industry events such as conferences, trade shows and forums as required
• Additional duties as required

 

Essential Qualifications:

Must have successfully completed a Business program, or program in remote sensing or GIS from a recognized post-secondary institution or have several years’ experience in the industry. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. A strong working knowledge of remote sensing applications and products, and experience in sales or account management an asset. Additional requirements include:
• Proven experience generating sales leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales
• Experienced in preparing and delivering presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical writing abilities including proposal writing and responding to RFPs/RFQs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent time management and project organization skills
